About the club

Hi, I’m Les Blythe founder of The Freelance Writing Success Club.

I’ve been earning my full-time income freelance writing online since 2011. Freelance writing offers you the opportunity to work from anywhere, on your own terms, and with the clients you choose.

The world has moved on and it’s no longer necessary to be tied to a fixed location to make a very good living as a writer. In fact, many companies choose to hire freelancers as it’s a more efficient and cost-effective option than taking on a full-time staff member.

I created The Freelance Writing Success Club to provide you with useful information, advice, and tips to help you model my success and become a well-paid freelance writer.


What can you write for money?

The list of writing possibilities for freelance writers is almost limitless. With that said, when you’re just starting out it’s a good idea to specialize, for example, my specialty is writing technical and cybersecurity content for IT companies. Here are a couple of ideas for you:

The range of industries you can write for is as vast as the types of content you can write – doctors, dentists, accountants, home services companies, new business startups – they all have websites and they all need content.

Write, don’t procrastinate!

Sure, experienced writers do best when it comes to writing for money but, make no mistake, that DOES NOT mean you need to study for years. I started making money in my first month – and you can too.
